Acharya Prashant addresses the question of how to see God in everyone, explaining that this is a widely used phrase in spirituality, along with concepts like "God in every particle" and "Narayan in every man." He clarifies that the meaning of seeing God in people is to see people from the center of Godliness. People will appear to you as you are. He illustrates this with an example: when a cow approaches, a calf sees its mother, a milkman sees milk, a priest sees a holy mother cow, a butcher sees meat, and an animal lover sees a creature to be cared for. What you are is what you see; the world appears to you according to what you are. To see Narayan (God) in every man, you must first become Narayan yourself. This is the answer. To see Narayan in every man, you must be centered in the Narayan within you. Let Narayan see, and He will only see Narayan. If a human sees, he will see a human. If a man sees a woman, she appears magnified. In a crowd of fifty, if your eyes are that of a man, the three women will stand out. The speaker mentions Vincent van Gogh, an impressionist painter, who depicted things not as they were, but as they appeared to him, based on the impression they made. If he painted the night sky, the stars would not be small, but very large, because the stars are what attract the eye against the dark backdrop. Similarly, if a greedy person enters a room with gold in a corner, their entire consciousness becomes centered on that corner, and the rest of the room becomes insignificant. We see the world in this way. As long as you see as a fragmented being, you will see another fragmented being, and this will cause turmoil. The complete has no opposite. Every fragment has an opposite in this world. The world is a collection of various dualities. When you see from the center of Truth, you see without the eyes of greed or fear. This is what it means to see Narayan in man. It doesn't mean ignoring their good and bad qualities and just saying, "You are Narayan." It means that you no longer have any greed or fear towards them. Now you can see clearly who they are, what their intentions are, and what effect they have on the world. When you are at peace, you will find peace in every color. When you are at peace, you will find formlessness in every form. This is God.
