Description

Acharya Prashant explains that every individual must find their own path because everyone starts from a different psychological and situational position. He emphasizes that even if the ultimate destination is the same, the journey depends entirely on one's current location. Just as a GPS requires a starting point to provide directions, a person must first understand where they currently stand in life. This understanding comes from a rigorous and honest observation of one's daily habits, such as what one eats, watches, buys, and thinks about. He asserts that recognizing one's own miserable or 'hellish' condition is a divine step toward liberation, as the same awareness that reveals one's current state will also reveal the way out. He further advises that one should not wait for fear or doubt to disappear before moving toward the Truth. Instead, one must move forward with their existing fears and doubts, as the act of moving toward the divine is what causes these obstacles to dissolve. Acharya Prashant challenges the common claim of being 'bound' by past impressions or conditioning. He points out that while people intellectually admit to being bound, they act with the arrogance of a 'master' or a 'free bird' in their daily decisions. True liberation begins when one realizes, in the very moment of action, that their choices are driven by internal slavery and old patterns rather than true freedom. Only through such constant self-observation and humility can one find the right path.
