Acharya Prashant explains that while all religions essentially point to the same truth, the followers of these religions often begin to believe that their path is unique and superior. When society becomes divided by these false perceptions of difference, a teacher like Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji must intervene to clarify that all paths lead to the same destination. This act of bringing people back to the original, eternal truth appears as the establishment of a new religion, even though the message itself is ancient. He emphasizes that truth is one, but it can be described in many ways depending on the time and context. He further clarifies the role of a true teacher versus a false one. A true teacher uses contemporary methods, new languages, and modern metaphors to guide seekers toward the same eternal destination. The path or the method must change according to the needs of the hour and the mindset of the students, but the goal remains constant. In contrast, a false teacher changes the destination itself, leading followers toward something new and incorrect. Acharya Prashant concludes that while the 'way' must be skillfully crafted and contemporary, the 'destination' must always be the same timeless truth, often referred to as point zero.
