Description

Acharya Prashant explains that the universe exists only for the ego, serving as the object to the eternal subject. He clarifies that the ego does not move from one body to another in a literal sense; rather, bodies are constantly changing and the ego tendency associates itself with them. This ego tendency is the primary duality that springs from the non-dual truth, which he describes as a point that has no spatial existence. The entire universe is a single object to this one subject. Even if all biological life were annihilated, the ego tendency would persist within the material itself, as it is an eternal presence in the field of space and time. Every particle carries this tendency, which is why even a stone can eventually assume the form of a living being under the right circumstances. Regarding the journey toward liberation, he emphasizes that it is not about reaching specific coordinates or achieving a final state. Instead, liberation is found in the movement, direction, and speed of the seeker's progress. He describes the goal as a guiding light, similar to a pole star, which serves as a direction rather than a destination one necessarily reaches. The process is a heartful tumble that transcends intellectual calculation and precise measurements. While one may begin with logical models, the path eventually requires a devotion that goes beyond intellect, where the seeker forgets calculations and moves toward dissolution.
