Acharya Prashant explains that the verses from the Avadhuta Gita regarding a Sannyasi living like a serpent—solitary, without a fixed abode or a group—are specifically addressed to those who have transcended institutionalized social structures. He clarifies that a Sannyasi is not someone who lacks relationships, but someone who does not form them based on social mandates or labels. While worldly relationships are often limited and institutionalized (like mother, sister, or friend), a Sannyasi’s relationship is with the entire world, embodying the concept of 'the world is one family'. He emphasizes that a Sannyasi is a 'great family man' because, by having no specific 'own' person, no one remains a stranger to them.
