Description

Acharya Prashant explains that the conflict faced by Arjuna is not merely a historical event but a representation of the internal struggle faced by all of humanity. He posits that both Shri Krishna and Arjuna reside within us, with Shri Krishna representing the heart or the inner truth. When faced with difficult decisions where right and wrong are hard to distinguish, one must examine the source of their choices. Using the analogy of a mad servant, he illustrates that if the source of our options—the mind—is itself flawed or 'mad', then every choice it presents is equally invalid. He argues that there can be no right choice when the entire environment and background are false. Therefore, the only true option is to reject all choices presented by the mind. By rejecting the 'servant' or the mind itself, one creates an empty, sanctified space. It is only in this state of total rejection and emptiness that the right, indispensable truth can arrive on its own. He emphasizes that truth cannot occupy a space that is already filled with wrong choices and that one must vacate the 'unauthorized' position of the ego to allow the divine or the real to enter.
