Acharya Prashant explains that the term 'Kalpa' in the Bhagavad Gita should not be understood as a specific duration of time, but as the mind itself. He clarifies that the entire world is an expansion of the mind; when the mind expands, the world exists, and when the mind contracts, the world dissolves. Shri Krishna is the source behind both the mind and the world. The individual beings, including humans, animals, and plants, are small points of ego within the cosmic mind. These individuals are naturally attracted to the world because it carries the fragrance and beauty of Shri Krishna, from whom it originated. The mind seeks Shri Krishna externally because it cannot easily turn inward to see its own source.
