Description

Acharya Prashant explains that social inequities, exploitation, and the marginalization of certain sections of society are not mandated by fate but are rooted in our fundamental biological constitution. He observes that while nature is full of opportunism and a lack of compassion, humans use their gifted intellect to carry out exploitation at a much larger and more sophisticated scale. This exploitative tendency is existential rather than ideological; therefore, replacing one ideology with another cannot solve the problem because all ideologies originate from the same conditioned, animalistic mind. He emphasizes that violence is ingrained in our DNA, and unless human consciousness is liberated from these bodily compulsions, destruction will continue at an accelerated pace. Addressing the gap between the 'haves' and 'have-nots', Acharya Prashant questions whether the consumption-centric lifestyle of the privileged is even worth coveting. He warns that if the entire population aspired to the same per capita consumption as developed nations, the planet would not survive. While superficial solutions like subsidies and affirmative action may provide marginal relief, they do not address the root cause. He argues for a complete overhaul of the education and social systems to focus on what is truly valuable for a human being. Beyond basic physical needs like food and shelter, he asserts that humans require a liberated consciousness and right values to move away from animalistic tendencies and achieve wholesome change.
