Description

Acharya Prashant explains that surrender is not an imagination or a concept created by the mind. He warns that when a person in bondage tries to imagine freedom, they do so in terms of their own bondage, which ultimately makes freedom appear scary and leads them to avoid it. He asserts that having an image of truth, God, or freedom actually prevents one from experiencing them in the present. He highlights the arrogance of the ego, which attempts to form images of everything, including the Buddha, and then claims to have a theoretical understanding. Acharya Prashant dismisses the idea of theoretical understanding, comparing it to theoretical food that can never satisfy hunger. Furthermore, he states that both believers and atheists are essentially the same because both are certain about something they do not truly know. He concludes by noting that God has no conception of God, and it is only ungodliness that claims to know God through books, fairytales, or arguments.
