Acharya Prashant explains that the statement from Vivek Choodamani, where Shri Krishna declares that He does not abide in beings nor do beings abide in Him, must be understood as a single truth regarding the human condition. He clarifies that Shri Krishna acts as a mirror to one's own state; what one receives from life and the truth depends entirely on how one relates to it. If a person identifies strongly with their limited physical and mental identity as a 'being' or 'person', they have effectively declared their separation from the divine. Shri Krishna respects this human freedom and does not force a union where the individual chooses to remain distant and defined by their ego.
