In response to a question about how to stay aligned with one's righteous path (Dharma) during difficult times, Acharya Prashant explains that it must be a non-negotiable love. He reframes the question as, "How to remain with Krishna even in times of difficulty?" He states that while external times and situations are always changing, rising and falling, one must live with oneself internally. This internal living requires the presence of a sacred center. Acharya Prashant uses an analogy to clarify his point: one can live with bad air, but one cannot live without lungs. Similarly, while external conditions may sometimes be unfavorable, there must be health inside. He says that Shri Krishna is the name for this internal health, and one's connection to it must be non-negotiable. This is not a method that can be taught, but a conscious choice and a commitment one makes to oneself. It is about identifying certain things, ideally just one, that one cannot compromise on, come what may. He further compares this to falling in love, for which there can be no method. It is a choice one makes to allow oneself to be captivated. When you find something that is truly appealing and worth dying for, you make a very conscious decision to never part ways with it, simply because it is beautiful and you love it. This requires actively and consciously making choices, remembering your choice, and even reveling in and celebrating it. Even when conditions are bad and you could have capitulated but did not, you should celebrate within, recognizing that you are a winner.
