Description

Acharya Prashant explains that the observer and the observed are not separate entities but a single composite system. He clarifies Kabir Saheb's words by stating that the entire universe, including the sun and the moon, is a projection of the observer. The ego, which relies on limited physical instruments like the brain and eyes, fails to truly comprehend reality because it is enmeshed with the universe rather than being its witness. He describes the ego as a drunken soldier using substandard weapons, suggesting that the only way to overcome this state is through a mechanism that turns the inquiry back upon the inquirer themselves. Addressing the concept of the rosary and the thread mentioned by Kabir Saheb and Shri Krishna, Acharya Prashant explains that while the world appears to be made of diverse and different 'beads' or phenomena, there is a common binding element at the center of all things. This shared center is what is referred to as Shri Krishna or Ram. He asserts that any deep inquiry into the nature of existence eventually leads to the realization that the human mind cannot know the ultimate truth through superficial means. The inquiry only reaches its conclusion when the inquirer themselves dissolves. He further elaborates that all human actions, attractions, and repulsions are inwardly directed toward the same core matter, even if they appear different outwardly. Just as patients in a hospital have different diagnoses but seek the same health, all individuals are ultimately seeking the same truth. Whether one is running toward something or away from it, the underlying motivation is centered on the same divine principle. The 'eyes of wisdom' involve looking past the external differences of the beads to recognize the single thread that holds everything together.
