Description

Acharya Prashant explains that spiritual understanding is fundamentally different from traditional education. In traditional education, the ego remains unchanged while accumulating knowledge, which it then uses for its own selfish and often destructive ends. He points out that providing advanced technology and knowledge to an unreformed mind leads to global crises like climate change and environmental destruction. In this model, the ego attempts to 'implement' knowledge as a tool, which only strengthens its own position. In contrast, true realization is not something that the ego implements. Acharya Prashant clarifies that when one truly understands, that knowledge works to weaken and dissolve the ego itself. He emphasizes that implementation should be spontaneous rather than a conscious effort. Just as a healthy plant naturally produces a flower without planning, right action follows naturally from realization. He advises focusing on the 'root' of understanding and realization, as the 'fruit' of correct action and behavior will then manifest automatically without the need for forced effort.
