Acharya Prashant explains that the household life is a field of action where desires and tendencies constantly resurface, much like weeds in a field that has not been cleared by fire. He emphasizes that the struggle against innate tendencies and the illusions of the world is continuous and long-term. Even if one has successfully used spiritual texts and teachings to overcome past distractions, there is no guarantee of future safety. He warns against self-confidence or complacency, noting that even the most established individuals can be uprooted by the powerful force of illusion. Acharya Prashant advises that one must not underestimate the strength of worldly illusions, which can strike with greater force or subtle deception as one progresses. He suggests that instead of seeking new actions, one must focus on maintaining their current spiritual practice. He recommends creating a protective environment or a system of safeguards around oneself, acknowledging that individual will alone may not be enough to prevent a fall. The guidance is to remain vigilant and ensure there are external supports to restrain oneself when the mind attempts to wander or escape from the path of truth.
