Description

Acharya Prashant explains that renunciation cannot be the starting point of a spiritual journey. He argues that one cannot truly renounce something if they believe it is their only possession or source of security. True renunciation is not an act of willpower but a natural consequence of experiencing something far greater and more vast. When one attains the 'Infinite' or 'Bhuma', the small and trivial things of the world lose their grip and are dropped without effort. He emphasizes that the feeling of lack is a misconception, as the very desire to find the Truth is powered by the Truth itself. He further clarifies that the question 'how to attain' is rooted in ego and the false belief that one is limited or 'lame'. By asking for a method, a person seeks a path compatible with their self-imposed limitations, which can never lead to the limitless. Acharya Prashant asserts that the Truth is already present and available; it is the source of the inspiration to seek it. Therefore, instead of focusing on 'how to get' or 'what to leave', one should realize that the ultimate is already attained. Living in this realization, where one remains blissful even amidst suffering, is the essence of true joy.
