Acharya Prashant explains that the Lord is the source of consciousness, while the world is its expanse. Creation occurs when the pure source of awareness manifests into multiple levels and colors of consciousness. He clarifies that consciousness and the world are one, and consciousness cannot exist without content. When one is conscious, they are always conscious of something specific. Dissolution happens when consciousness is no longer affiliated with its contents, leading to a state of pure awareness. In this state, there is knowing without a specific object of knowledge and without a knower, whereas in ordinary consciousness, the ego or 'I' is preserved and strengthened.
