Acharya Prashant explains that a seeker should emulate the ocean, which remains deep and vast yet is constantly in motion. He clarifies that the depth of the ocean is not a sign of inactivity or stagnation, like a still pond where the water might rot; rather, it is a source of immense energy and continuous activity. He emphasizes that true peace and depth must coexist with dynamic action. If one feels calm while listening to spiritual discourses but returns to restlessness and sadness afterward, it indicates that the teachings have not been translated into action. A true listener should be so engaged in meaningful work that they have no time for sorrow or self-pity.
