Description

Acharya Prashant explains that life is a continuous, uninterrupted flow that has persisted since the first cell developed in muddy water. He posits that while individual bodies fall, Prakriti (Nature) continues without interruption. Scientifically, death is necessary for the continuity of life, as it allows resources to become available for new generations. Suffering arises when individuals view themselves as discrete units rather than part of this continuous game. Shri Krishna aims to relieve Arjuna's suffering by revealing the eternity of Prakriti and the timelessness of the Atma (Self). He uses the analogy of a long-distance train where passengers board and depart, yet the train itself remains occupied and continues its journey. Attachment to specific individuals, like a family member on that train, prevents one from seeing the complete picture of life.
