Acharya Prashant explains that there are two types of journeys occurring simultaneously in human life. The first is the journey of time, which continues regardless of one's awareness or actions; it is relentless and moves toward death. He emphasizes that time is merciless and even the Divine does not return a single lost moment. The second journey is the spiritual journey, which requires conscious choice and effort. This journey is the movement of the mind toward the soul and does not happen automatically. He stresses that the only meaningful use of time is to strive for liberation, which he defines as freedom from one's specific bondages. Acharya Prashant asserts that every human being is essentially a freedom fighter, and while worldly professions are necessary for survival, they are secondary to the primary existential duty of seeking liberation. He clarifies that because we currently exist in a state of untruth, the journey toward truth is necessary. The ultimate goal of this journey is to reach a state beyond time and life itself, known as being liberated while alive. He concludes by advising that one should not rely solely on personal strength but should remain humble and receptive to the Divine grace that facilitates this journey, as the source of life and movement is beyond the individual self.
