Acharya Prashant explains that while most people desire to be good and live well, they are often unable to follow the right path because they have accepted lies as truths. He describes this as a tragic accident where individuals suffer but refuse to acknowledge their pain, instead giving it beautiful names like responsibility, duty, or love. He asserts that if one truly recognizes suffering as suffering, they possess the inherent power and awareness to move away from it. However, by mislabeling bondage as a virtue or a tradition, people remain trapped in suffocating situations. He emphasizes that our education and societal values have made us insensitive to our own agony, leading us to endure environments filled with jealousy and pretense simply to avoid being labeled as 'bad' by society. He further discusses the concept of rebellion and social expulsion, suggesting that being cast out from a toxic or unconscious society is actually a blessing rather than a curse. He challenges the conventional notion of responsibility, stating that relationships should be driven by love rather than imposed duties, as responsibility without love leads to violence and resentment. Regarding parenting, Acharya Prashant advises that parents must lead by example. If a parent makes choices based on truth and personal fulfillment rather than seeking social status or following the crowd, the child will naturally learn to value truth. He concludes that the values one lives by become the example for the next generation, and one must be cautious about what they truly prioritize in life.
