Acharya Prashant interprets Kabir Saheb's couplet regarding the 'thief' within, identifying this thief as the source of suffering and unrest that steals one's peace and true nature. He explains that while people often view ego or illusion as enemies to be destroyed, they fail to realize that unrest is their current state of being. The speaker argues that illusion actually performs a service by acting as a mirror, revealing one's internal hollowness and lack of peace. He suggests that instead of fighting external situations, one should be grateful for them as they expose hidden impurities like anger, greed, and hatred that already exist within.
