Acharya Prashant explains that there are two ways to distinguish between human beings. The first way, which the world typically follows, is based on what a person has, such as bank balance, religion, caste, respect, knowledge, nationality, and gender. This approach focuses on external accumulations and possessions. The second and more intelligent way is to look at what a person is, focusing on their essence. This involves understanding their sensitivity, how they relate to the world, their ability to observe their own mind, and whether they are a slave to their emotions. The true quality of a person's being is the only intelligent way to differentiate between individuals. Regarding the pursuit of happiness, Acharya Prashant states that chasing happiness is the one thing common to all human beings throughout history. Every action, even sacrifice for others, is ultimately done for one's own happiness because it is our essential nature to be happy. When this happiness is absent, we become uncomfortable and restless. He clarifies that joy is the nature of intelligence and is only accessible to those who are truly intelligent. While everyone chases happiness, most do not find it because they live in stupidity, distraction, and worry. True joy, freedom, and love are reserved for the brilliant individual who is free, independent, and shining from within.
