Acharya Prashant explains that no one will come to stop or check you if you are living a wrong life. Your physical life is so unimportant that even if you completely ruin it, it makes no difference to existence. You can completely ruin your life, and existence will not be affected. He compares this to the countless insects that die without anyone noticing or caring. Just as their death doesn't affect you, your life and death do not affect existence. Even your relatives are only slightly affected. He quotes Kabir Saheb, who says that a sister cries for three days, a wife for thirteen, and a mother for six months, after which everyone moves on with their lives. If you are causing harm by living a wrong life, you are only harming yourself. Existence is impartial; it doesn't stop anyone. You have complete freedom to be ruined. Therefore, do not show the stubbornness of insisting on walking the wrong path. Many people feel a sense of pride in this, saying, "We will not do what the gurus and scriptures say is right." The speaker's response is to go ahead, as it affects no one else. Your life is just a tiny drop in the vast ocean of life, which is teeming with innumerable creatures. That drop is destined to vanish in a moment. So, who are you showing off to by claiming to be a rebel living a wrong life? Spirituality is a matter of ultimate self-interest. If you want to save yourself, then save yourself. If not, you can keep your arguments, as no one is interested in them. If you live rightly, you live for yourself; you are not doing a favor to anyone else. He gives an example of a cancer patient who, despite knowing the harm, continues to smoke and eventually dies, becoming just a numbered corpse in a morgue. A wrong life is considered wrong precisely because it causes immense suffering and makes one cry tears of blood. By the time the arrogance fades, time has also run out. He concludes by saying that it's not a bird that eats the crop of life, but the buffalo of Yamraj (the god of death), leaving nothing behind.
