Acharya Prashant explains that the fundamental mistake of human beings is the failure to realize their internal nature, which leads to becoming a slave to it and results in weakness. He asserts that weapons do not win wars; rather, it is wisdom that secures victory in subtle ways. The tragedy of defeat first occurs internally before manifesting externally. Because human beings are unique, they require a center of existence, which is wisdom or spirituality. Without this center, a person or society becomes scattered and lacks power, much like a wheel without an axis. He points out that India's historical struggles and lack of progress stem from the contamination of religion. While the core of wisdom, Vedanta, was always present, people chose to focus on hollow practices, empty rituals, discrimination, and imaginative stories instead of the essence. When religion is corrupted, society loses its scientific temper, exploration, and unity, leading to fragmentation and exploitation. Acharya Prashant emphasizes that losing wars is merely a symptom of this deeper spiritual corruption. He concludes that unless there is a return to pure religion and the highest wisdom of Vedanta, the future remains as bleak as the past.
