Acharya Prashant responds to a question about whether spiritual love begins with natural love. He explains that since our own beginning is from nature (Prakriti), it is not surprising if a relationship also begins naturally. This can certainly happen. The important thing is where you want to take that relationship. When a person considers themselves to be the body, there is a high probability that they will form a body-based relationship with another person. Once the relationship is formed, the crucial aspect is where you lead it. He clarifies that it is not necessary for all relationships to start naturally, but most do because people are body-conscious. Such body-based relationships have karmic consequences and should be avoided as much as possible. If a relationship has already started on a natural basis, one must try to bring it to the right path and give it dignity. Addressing the context of professional relationships, Acharya Prashant states that these are generally not deep connections, and one's responsibility for the spiritual upliftment of colleagues is a distant concern. He advises focusing first on relationships with family members, with whom one's identity is deeply intertwined. He distinguishes between two types of work: if a job is chosen merely for money or career advancement, it is futile to attempt to bring spirituality into it. However, if one chooses work that is spiritually aligned, then the work itself becomes a spiritual purpose, and the relationships formed within it will naturally have a spiritual basis. He emphasizes that there is no right way to do a wrong thing. If a job is chosen for the wrong reasons, one cannot expect a right outcome. The only correct action in a wrong job is to plan one's exit from it.
