Acharya Prashant addresses the question of whether he would have approved of Earth's creation if shown its suffering beforehand. He begins by stating that the internal model of 'God created the world' is somewhat dangerous. This is because, along with this idea, comes the notion that God also gave humans the number one rank and declared that everything else in the world is for their service. He asserts that we need to abandon the belief that God created the world. He elaborates that people use this belief to justify their actions. They argue that since God created the world and also made human teeth capable of chewing meat, it must be God's will to kill and eat animals. They also claim that since God created the world and ancient scriptures permit the killing of certain animals, it is permissible. This belief that someone created the world and designed us in a particular way is dangerous. We need to understand that we did not appear in a single day; we have come out of the jungle. Physically, we have left the jungle, but mentally, we still have a very long journey to complete. Because this journey is still pending, we witness all kinds of misdeeds. For a human to become fully human, they still have a long way to go. He clarifies that throughout this journey, there will be extraordinary people, as there have been in the past, who complete their journey more quickly. He specifies that he is not talking about figures like Shri Krishna, Buddha, or Mahavir, whose journeys are complete, but about the common person. The common person still has a long journey of internal development to undertake. The responsibility to become better is our own. If we say that God created the world, then we must also believe that running the world is God's job, and whatever is happening is by God's will. This would imply that if slaughterhouses are running, God is running them, so we should let them be. Acharya Prashant mentions that he faces these arguments daily, where people ask, 'Who are you to interfere in God's work?' or argue, 'If vegetarianism were a good thing, we wouldn't be able to digest meat. Since we can, it means God wants us to eat meat.' He calls this a very dangerous argument. In the end, he states that as the Earth is now, it is his responsibility to fix it because he is an inhabitant of it and it is part of his experience, and he cannot escape this responsibility.
