Acharya Prashant explains that fundamentally, there is no difference between the consciousness that seeks peace through the path of Ravana and the one that seeks it through the path of Shri Ram, Buddha, or Mahavira. Both will eventually attain peace; the only difference lies in the timing and the method chosen. Everyone must cross to the other side; some go seated on a throne, while others go bound in chains. It is ultimately a matter of personal preference and style. One can choose to reach the destination with dignity like a king or through suffering and humiliation. He illustrates this with an analogy of traveling to a distant country like America. One person may travel comfortably with a passport, visa, and ticket, while another might choose a perilous journey through cargo containers or illegal border crossings, enduring immense hardship. Similarly, Duryodhana chose a path of conflict and suffering, and Shri Krishna granted his wish. Regarding the choice of a greater sorrow for the sake of liberation from all sorrows, Acharya Prashant emphasizes that while he can recommend the right path, the final decision and action rest solely with the individual.
