Acharya Prashant addresses the relationship between the ego and spiritual knowledge, specifically the Bhagavad Gita. He argues that the ego often attempts to use the Gita for its own ends, which leads to widespread and deliberate misinterpretation. Instead of trying to control or use the scripture, one must surrender to it. This surrender is not based on blind belief but is an instantaneous result of realization. When one truly sees the truth, they cannot unsee it, and at that point, the Gita begins to guide the individual rather than the individual trying to manipulate the text to suit their desires.
