Acharya Prashant explains that the individual consciousness, referred to as 'Purusha', often finds itself entangled in the play of nature, or 'Prakriti'. He uses the metaphor of a stranger dancing at someone else's wedding to describe how the self gets unnecessarily involved in worldly affairs that do not truly belong to it. He clarifies that while the body, being a part of nature, has legitimate physical needs like food and shelter, the mind's psychological dependence on the world for peace and contentment is a mistake. Nature operates according to its own laws and cycles, and the human tendency to interfere or seek personal gratification from it leads to bondage.
