Description

Acharya Prashant explains that silence is the ultimate goal and foundation of all dialogue. He suggests that silence can be developed either by reducing noise or by engaging in meaningful dialogue that cuts through noise. Silence is always present, but it is often covered by the noise and commotion to which we contribute our energy and consent. Spirituality, in its entirety, is a movement toward entering this silence. He notes that our daily actions and desires are driven by a search for peace and satisfaction, yet the mediums we use—such as material possessions or knowledge—are inherently temporary and cannot provide infinite or lasting fulfillment.
