Description

Acharya Prashant explains that an individual's perception of the world is a direct reflection of their internal state. If one is willing to improve themselves, they immediately gain hope that the world can also improve. Conversely, those who claim the world or others cannot change are merely projecting their own internal stagnation. When a person begins to purify themselves, they naturally desire to share that state of innocence and clarity with everyone, leading to a sense of faith and universal hope. Addressing the concept of the Guru, Acharya Prashant clarifies that a Guru never truly gets angry or upset in the worldly sense. The Guru's sole purpose is to introduce the seeker to the Truth and lead them toward the light. Whether the Guru uses affection or sternness, every action is a method of teaching. While the seeker might feel the Guru is 'angry,' it is actually the seeker who turns away from the Guru due to their own attachment to darkness and ego. Since the Ultimate Truth is formless and beyond human language, the Guru serves as the essential bridge, using human language and form to guide the seeker. If one rejects even the Guru, who communicates in a relatable manner, then all avenues for liberation are closed. Regarding internal peace and external conflict, Acharya Prashant suggests that external battles are often just extensions of internal weaknesses. Resistance from the outside world only affects an individual if there is fear, doubt, or a lack of faith within. Instead of focusing on fighting external entities, one should address their own internal vulnerabilities. When the internal state is conquered and strengthened, external conflicts lose their significance and are resolved naturally.
