Acharya Prashant explains that in the second chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, Shri Krishna offers the highest truth to Arjuna right at the beginning. This reflects the resolution of the master's love, hoping that the absolute reality—where nothing begins or ends—would suffice to resolve Arjuna's grief. However, when Arjuna is unable to grasp or accept this paramarthic (absolute) level of truth, Shri Krishna descends to the vyavaharic (factual) level. He uses the analogy of waves in an ocean to explain that all beginnings and ends in the material world are essentially similar and inseparable from the one fundamental entity, yet Arjuna remains reluctant to accept these practical observations.
